                        <input type= Process Overview

The Credit Review Office has tried to make this as process as simple as possible. Obviously we need to gather basic information on your business, so the application will ask you about the business, who runs it, and why you think that the lending should be made by your bank; and also why you believe the business / farm is viable going forward.

All applicants must complete the application form which should be emailed or posted to the Credit Review Office for initial eligibility screening.

If you have not already done so we will arrange for your loan application to be put through your bank’s own formal internal appeals process. This may result in the facilities being made available, however if this does not happen we will then contact you to finalise the legal agreement and payment before proceeding on your behalf.

The Credit Review Office will then receive financial information from your bank, together with the reason they have declined the borrowing request. This information will be shared with you, and you may choose to comment on the bank’s response at that time.

The Credit Review Office review process is based on confirming the facts of the case with you and your bank, and independently and impartially reviewing the opinions from both parties on whether the lending can be safely repaid.
